Db2top / db2mon (db2 v9 udb/aix)
I'm trying to understand some of the variables in regards to when a DML statement is run. For example: I'm running a delete statement on table based on a key that has index. Can someone please explain the following: What does Rows written indicate? The value is currently showing 130 million What does Rows read indicate? The value is currently showing 15043 What does Rows selected indicate? The value is currently showing 8033 What does Rows deleted indicated? The value is currently showing 120 million How is possible to delete over 120 million rows when only 80333 were selected? Also, how is possible to read only 15043 rows when 120 million have been deleted?
