Hi folks, got an erorr when entering db2top command [ctginst1#WESSSMDB01 dev]$ db2top -d maxdb71 ioctl(/dev/tty,TIOCGWINSZ) Exiting... [ctginst1#WESSSMDB01 dev]$ I googled the error, it looks to be a php error, And i could see it happens in all Linux platforms irrespective of database. (sybase, infromix, db2) Please correct me if wrong. help me ....
which error msg do you get? it looks like some terminal error。 and which terminal tools you used: putty , netterm, secureCRT ?

hey dr_te_z, i could'nt understand your point. Yes face this issue in DB2 only, But the error when googled, said it can happen in any database envi.

Hate to explain a joke... It is your database name. maxdb is a database, just like oracle or sybase or postreSQL. And they are at version 7. So I could create a db2 database and call it "oracle8i". It would be a funny/confusing name for a db2 database don't you agree?
